Privacy notice for meetoliver.uk
meetoliver.uk is run by Zenoo Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 11093114, registered office C/O Azets, Westpoint, Lynch Wood, Peterborough PE2 6FZ. Zenoo Ltd is the controller for the processing described here. It also provides AML Buddy, whose privacy policy covers everything else we do.
What we process when you ask Oliver a question
- Your question and the conversation so far. Your browser sends them to our server each time you ask something. We use them only to find matching answers in our knowledge base and, when AI replies are on, to produce Oliver's reply.
- Masking. Before anything is sent to our AI provider, our server masks obvious personal details, such as email addresses, phone numbers, National Insurance numbers, card and account numbers, postcodes and dates. Masking can miss things, so please don't type personal or client details.
- No conversation log. We don't store your questions or Oliver's replies, in a database or in logs. The conversation exists only in your browser tab and is gone when you close it.
- Counts only. We keep daily and monthly totals, such as the number of questions and the cost of AI replies, with no text and nothing that identifies you.
- Rate limits. To prevent abuse, our hosting provider counts requests per IP address for a short time window. The IP address is not stored by us.
Our providers
- Anthropic provides the AI model that writes Oliver's replies. It processes the masked conversation on our behalf under its commercial terms, which don't allow it to use our customers' content to train its models. It may keep requests for a limited period for safety and misuse monitoring. Anthropic is based in the United States, so this involves a transfer outside the UK, made under appropriate safeguards.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the server code.
- PostHog (EU hosting) receives anonymous usage events, as described below. No question text.
Lawful basis
Legitimate interests: providing a free information service about UK AML rules and keeping it secure. You choose what to type, and you can use the site without giving any personal details.
Cookies and analytics
meetoliver.uk sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser for analytics. We use PostHog, with servers in the EU, to count anonymous usage: pages viewed, buttons and question cards clicked, and whether a reply came from the AI or from the closest checked answer. PostHog is set up without cookies, without a stored identifier, without session recordings and without your IP address being kept. The text of your questions and Oliver’s replies is never sent to PostHog. Your choice of light or dark mode is saved only in your own browser.
Your rights
Because we don't keep your conversation, there is usually nothing about you for us to give access to, correct or delete. For any privacy question, email privacy@amlbuddy.com. You can also complain to the Information Commission (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
